Jurien Bay and Cervantes both have off-leash areas for dogs on beaches at the northern and southern ends of town. Dogs have to be on a leash in the main town areas. In Jurien Bay the off-leash areas start to the south of Lindsay Street and to the north of the boat harbour groyne. In Cervantes the off-leash areas are north of the jetty from the end of Catalonia Street and south of the end of Barcelona Street. There are
also doggy bags for picking up items when nature calls in most parks
and along the main foreshore paths in each town.
Pets may not be brought into most National Parks, even if they are left in your vehicle. If you have a pet and want to visit the Pinnacles, there is a Parks and Wildlife Service depot in the light industrial area in Cervantes on Bradley Loop that has self service outdoor kennels available. Users are encouraged to bring their own padlock and can supply amenities such as food and water for their pet. Pets can be left in the kennel enclosure during depot opening hours (8am—4pm weekdays). Enquiries can be made by calling the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions regional office in Jurien Bay (08) 9688 6000. If you are found to be bringing your animal into a National Park fines may be enforced by the Department of Biosecurity, Conservation and Attractions.
